This is a systematic study on “Accountability to God” following the biblical books in consecutive order to raise questions, look at examples, and offer biblical answers. Enough examples are given to show the pattern of God’s actions throughout biblical history. America has arrived at the most crucial time in history when even many in the Christian churches show little concern that they will answer to God. What churches are seriously studying this matter? Unfortunately, the “over emphasized and underexplained” teaching on “once saved always saved” has falsely implied to many that they can make a deal with God once in the church with a testimony in baptism and they are no longer seriously accountable in this lifetime or afterward! The scriptures included in this study will shoot a hole in that hot air balloon and deflate the “credit card to sin” theology many have adopted in their beliefs. Too many church members feel secure in that they have followed the “church formula” and met the requirements as interpreted by their church to get into heaven and that is all that matters. Some have not even been converted enough to ask what God’s will and purpose for their life truly is! Many church leaders seem to be unaware of the scriptures declaring God will hold them accountable for the souls of the people they lead!
