Jesus responded to all suffering with healing. This study surveys the gospels to consider the suffering of individuals and groups and healings that took place. This study considers the nuances of information between the gospel writers as they report on the same miracles. It is doubtful that there is any bad or irrelevant question that can be raised for consideration. To receive the most from this information one would benefit from reading all reports of suffering and healing making notes on their questions that arise. It is likely that everyone already has their own definition of suffering from their personal experience. This research will show that Jesus was deeply touched by all kinds of suffering. The most profound thing about Jesus is that he loved us enough to suffer persecution and death to redeem us from our sin for eternity. Jesus came as The Suffering Servant of God clearly pictured in Isaiah’s Servant Poems. He also called everyone who received his salvation to suffer for the salvation of all those who are lost and confronted with destruction for eternity. Every healing of Jesus was to point people to the eternal spiritual healing he offered to all of mankind.
