In the biblical teaching on “Finishing your life journey for Christ,” Jesus commands us to live daily by the leadership of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8) and to work on the most crucial mission anyone has on earth which is seeking the lost and making disciples. (Matthw 28:18-20) Whatever can be said about the value of living a life on earth, must be sandwiched in between these two directives. Christians must connect with the personal leadership of the Holy Spirit of Jesus and find others to connect with and partner with in obeying this command of Jesus for every Christian’s life. The ultimate personal fulfillment in life is discovering and accomplishing God’s personal will for which he created us. Ten examples are given of people who finished well for Christ to show their challenges and great individual potential but not to lift one example above another. Fulfillment in God’s will is connected to offering Christ’s salvation to others. This is eternal. Ten examples and situations are chosen to show the potential for every follower of Christ to uniquely work with him to finish their earthly journey accomplishing his will.
