This writing includes as many scriptures as possible to follow the thinking of biblical writers sharing their views, experiences, and hopes for heaven and life beyond this earth. We will follow for the most part a chronological order of biblical writings as we consider their historical situation, use of language, and visionary and symbolic expressions of their hopes and beliefs. For the most part, man is bogged down in his daily life trying to survive and living for the moment. However, there are those who have greater concepts of God and what he is trying to accomplish beyond the brief time zone in which man lives on earth. We will give those biblical writers special attention.
