This writing includes a minimum of twenty-five books of the Bible and approximately forty texts related to the issue. The study begins with God’s ten purposes for marriage in Genesis chapters one and two. This is the foundation of the whole study. It is not about limiting freedom of choice. God allows everyone the freedom to reject him and his truth but holds them accountable for the consequences. Christ declared that most people choose to reject him. This research is about understanding God’s purposes for marriage and sexuality from the beginning and examining related scriptures dealing with the practice of homosexuality. One of the most pungent symbols of the Bible representing evil is the story of Sodom and the practice of sodomy. This comparison begins in Genesis and carries through to the end of the Bible.
