This first goal of this study is to lay out the foundation of the biblical command for every soul who is saved to do the will of God by working in God’s harvest of saving others for his eternal family. This is the will of God for every believer. No scripture is clearer on this command than the three parables of Jesus in Luke 15. From the beginning of creation (Genesis 1:28) God’s will was for Adam and Eve to produce a godly family for him. At the close of the Old Testament this is clearly reaffirmed in Malachi 2:15 where the prophet declares to God’s people that they know what God expects of them, which is to produce godly children for his eternal kingdom. Souls for God’s eternal kingdom is what God expects every believer to help produce as the “product” of their life lived for Christ. Too often the church has failed to clarify what the product of a Christian life is meant to be. For many it is substituted with straining for a “goodness” which is rather self-defined and in the long run can become selfishness. For many, personal involvement in the mission of producing souls for God’s kingdom has been substituted with allegiance to religious programs that do not lead individuals to salvation in Christ. It is not necessarily planned this way on their part but church leadership credits them most for being faithful to the local church program in attendance, giving money, and supporting church activities. This is why many need to revisit the scriptures to identify the “product” God has planned in his will for them to produce for him after receiving his salvation. The second part of this study is to clarify this “product” of redeemed souls as the source of the ultimate joy God offers to those who are saved in fulfilling their purpose for him on earth. It is the reaffirmation of a believer’s own salvation. It is the accomplishment of the priority on the heart of God. It is the bonding partnership with God that cannot be broken by Satan. It is the fulfillment of God’s will and purpose for every person on earth who is saved.
