Jesus said that “few would be saved.” Due to the multiple definitions of groups claiming to be Christian as to how one is saved, it is extremely difficult to arrive at a number indicating how few people are really saved. Religious people constantly miscalculate excessive numbers of people who will go to heaven. In the U.S. the consensus is that nearly everyone goes to heaven! This denies the teaching of Jesus. Careful study of his teaching will cause us to ask the question someone asked of Jesus, “Will few be saved?” Surely, we would ask, “Why are more people not being saved.”
