God’s most repeated promise in scripture is, “I will be with you.” Of all the struggles of mankind in history, the greatest struggle has been to know God and live in a personal relationship with him. Men have fought wars, caused devastating divisions, and even killed one another over their interpretations of how to know God and express that relationship in their lives. The Bible begins with the first family where one man killed his brother over how to know and worship God. The struggle to know God is every individual’s greatest challenge.
